The Kinetic Smart Control is a resistance control unit that connects directly to your Kinetic Rock and Roll or Road Machine trainer - turning it into a smart trainer. The unit can connect to TrainerRoad via Bluetooth Smart. TrainerRoad can automatically control the Smart Control's resistance in accordance with the workout's profile.

Troubleshooting
What do I do if the Spindown Calibration fails?
When performing the spindown calibration, try bringing your speed up past the target speed by a few kph/mph. If you're struggling to bring your speed up, you can shift into a bigger gear.
What do I do if it is very difficult to pedal in Resistance mode?
You'll want to be in a small gear when you start your test. If you start in your biggest gear, it's like being in your biggest gear on a very steep hill.
Make sure that you shift down before your workout or before a testing period starts (for 8- or 20-Minute FTP Tests).
