Solving WiFi Interference

It's possible for WiFi routers to interfere with your ANT+/Bluetooth devices. ANT+ runs on 2.4 GHz, so interference is likely to occur if your router is also on 2.4 GHz and near your bike setup. Luckily, it's fairly simple to switch your WiFi's channel.

Test it

The check for this is to test your ANT+ or Bluetooth devices with TrainerRoad while the WiFi is turned off. If the device signal improves, then it's probably the WiFi that's the problem.

Change the WiFi Channel

If this helps the problem, then it’s most likely that the wireless channels are clashing with each other. Fortunately, changing the WiFi channel is pretty easy.
