How TrainerRoad Workouts are Tagged in Strava

TrainerRoad workouts automatically synced to Strava display as 'Indoor Cycling' activities. Strava's workout tags help athletes distinguish between their indoor and outdoor riding.

Note: Workout tags are viewable on Strava's desktop site. From mobile, users will see that their workout was done on TrainerRoad from the title of the activity.

How TrainerRoad Workouts are Tagged in Strava

Workout tags can be found once athletes drill into a specific activity. Above the summary for TrainerRoad workouts, you'll see: "[YOUR NAME] - Indoor Cycling".

Outdoor cycling activities, like a group ride, display tagged as 'Ride'. These are rides that have GPS data.

Similarly, indoor virtual cycling activities will appear tagged as 'Virtual Ride'. These are rides with virtual GPS data.
