TrainerRoad's Calendar: What It Is And How to Use it

The TrainerRoad Calendar gives you the freedom to create and plan your entire upcoming season. Whether you want to add a training plan or fine-tune one to fit your needs, Calendar does it all. 

Along with that, it implements past ride data allowing you to visualize not only what you've achieved but also where you can improve. Our Calendar is the perfect tool to help you get faster.

Calendar Features

TSS Chart

Located at the top of the calendar, the TSS chart graphs your weekly completed (green bars) and planned training load (grey bars) over time.

Click on any week on the chart to jump to that week on the Calendar below, or hover over any week on the chart to reveal more details. 

There are also icons in the TSS chart that represent important dates such as FTP updates and events/races.

The horizontal purples bars display a breakdown of your training plans by phase, indicating where each phase starts and stops.

Calendar Navigation

As mentioned above, clicking on weeks on the TSS chart allows you to jump to any date on the Calendar but you can also use the following tools to navigate:

  • Click "Today" to jump back to the current date. 
  • Check what month and year you are currently viewing in the upper left-hand corner of the Calendar.
  • If you're looking for a specific date, select the month and year to open brings a calendar drop-down.
  • You can also scroll infinitely to whichever date you desire. 

Editing Items on Calendar

Training Plans, Workouts, Events, Training Adjustments, and Notes can all be managed from the Calendar.

Planning Ahead

Planning your season can be the most important thing when training. The Calendar allows you to plan in advance, giving you the ability to add or edit any and all workouts in the pursuit of your goal or race.

Furthermore, it'll display past rides as far back as you have data, whether it be indoor or outdoor. This gives you a high-level visualization of your training as you plan ahead.
