Can I Use TrainerRoad on a Chromebook?

TrainerRoad is not supported on the Chromebook's operating system (OS). We don't currently have plans to build an application that will work with the Chromebook OS. As of now, TrainerRoad will run on iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows platforms. You can download the app from the following link: Download Please refer to our minimum system requirements page for information on operating systems TrainerRoad is compatible with. Can I use software that allows Windows/Mac apps to run on a Chromebook as a workaround? TrainerRoad is highly unlikely to work with software that claims to allow Windows/Mac apps to work on a Chromebook. Chromebooks are by design less powerful than your average Windows or Mac computer, and can't easily handle TrainerRoad's requirements. Furthermore, these Windows-to-Chromebook compatibility apps are typically designed for a "lightweight", or easy-to-run programs like a word processing software, rather than something like TrainerRoad's app.

Can I pair my head unit to TrainerRoad?

No, you can't pair your head-unit to the TrainerRoad app. Head-units and TrainerRoad are both receiving devices that you pair your cycling devices to during training. TrainerRoad acts as your head unit during your indoor workouts! Pairing devices to both TrainerRoad and your head-unit Some athletes may wish to record their workout on TrainerRoad and a separate device, like a head unit. If you're connecting over an ANT+ connection, you can pair your cycling equipment to both TrainerRoad and your head unit/fitness watch at the same time. If you're pairing via a Bluetooth connection, you'll need to only connect your cycling equipment to TrainerRoad. Bluetooth equipment can only pair to a single receiving device at a time. Does TrainerRoad have an Apple TV app?

TrainerRoad doesn't offer an Apple TV app. The TrainerRoad application is available for download on all other major platforms including Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac. Download the TrainerRoad app here: Download As a workaround, many modern devices running TrainerRoad can "stream", "mirror", or "cast" their display to an Apple TV device or Smart TV. How to Stream or Mirror TrainerRoad to a TV Athletes who want to see TrainerRoad on an external TV monitor while training can do so via a workaround. This workaround is dependent on if you're using a device that can "stream", "mirror", or "cast" their display to an Apple TV device or Smart TV. Many modern iOS and Android mobile devices can stream/mirror/cast their displays to another device. Some Windows and Mac machines can also stream/mirror/cast their displays. Note: If the Windows/Mac machine is unable to stream/mirror/cast to a TV, users can connect to a display with an HDMI cord if the devices allow it. Can I use TrainerRoad with an Amazon Kindle or Kindle Fire?

TrainerRoad athletes have reported that the TrainerRoad app is able to run on Amazon Kindle and Fire tablets, but only via a workaround. Amazon tablets are not directly supported by TrainerRoad, but the Google Play Store can be downloaded on these tablets, allowing access to our app. The Google play store will need to be "sideloaded" onto the Kindle or Fire device. For more specific steps on what to do, we recommend following the third-party how-to article here to get started. Once Google Play is downloaded, you should be free to install the TrainerRoad app and get training.
